REACH Compliance Statement (UK & EU)
Metway Electrical Industries Ltd is fully aware of and understands the requirements and implications of both UK REACH Regulation and EU REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, including associated restrictions under Annex XVII. We ensure compliance with all applicable obligations relating to the registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemical substances as currently in force within Great Britain and the European Union.
Substances of High Concern (SVHCs)
Metway Electrical Industries Ltd declares compliance with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) SVHC Candidate List. As of 25 June 2025, the Candidate List contains 250 substances.
Restrictions (Annex XVII)
Metway comply with the restrictions listed in REACH Annex XVII, which currently includes 81 restriction entries, including the addition of DMAC and NEP under Regulation (EU) 2025/1090.
Material Content Declaration
Metway products do not intentionally contain SVHCs or restricted substances above regulatory thresholds.
An exception applies to the presence of lead (Pb) in certain machined metal components (e.g. threaded terminal bodies). This use is permitted under the relevant exemption (e.g. RoHS exemption 6(c) where applicable) and remains compliant with current regulatory requirements.

Metway Electrical Industries Ltd continues to actively monitor updates to both UK and EU REACH regulations and maintains processes to ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
