Metway REACH Compliance Statement
Metway Electrical Industries Ltd is fully aware of and understands the requirements and implications of the EU and UK REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, including associated restrictions under REACH Annex XVII and Directive 76/769/EEC, as currently in force.
Metway Electrical declares compliance with the following:
- SVHC Candidate List: As of 4 February 2026, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) contains 253 entries.
- REACH Annex XVII: Currently includes 81 restriction entries, following the addition of DMAC and NEP under Regulation (EU) 2025/1090.
Metway products do not intentionally contain SVHCs or restricted substances, except for lead (Pb) present in certain machined metal components (for example threaded terminal bodies), which is permitted under applicable exemption 6(c).
Metway continues to monitor all REACH regulatory updates and remains committed to maintaining ongoing compliance with all applicable requirements.
