Metway REACH Compliance Statement – August 2025
Metway is fully aware and understands the aspects and impacts of the EU and UK regulations on REACH (EC) No. 1907/2006 and associated restrictions under Annex XVII and Directive 76/769/EEC, as currently in force.
Metway Electrical declares compliance with the • SVHC Candidate List: As of 25 June 2025, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) list contains 250 substances. • REACH Annex XVII: Currently includes 81 restriction entries, following the addition of DMAC and NEP under Regulation (EU) 2025/1090.
Metway products do not contain SVHCs or restricted substances, except for lead (Pb) in certain machined metal components (e.g. threaded terminal bodies), which is covered under exemption 6(c). Metway continues to monitor updates to REACH and ensures ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements.
