What does this warranty cover?
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship in products supplied by Metway under normal installation and use, in accordance with the relevant technical specifications, instructions and maintenance.
How long is the warranty period?
Metway provide a tier of warranty for products supplied.
The full MCC Range are now covered by a 7 (SEVEN) Year warranty against points above Metway standard products are covered by 2 (TWO) Year warranty is covered by points above.
This warranty is covered from the date of delivery to the original purchaser, unless otherwise stated in writing.
What will Metway do if a product is faulty?
If a product is found to be defective within the warranty period, Metway will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or offer a credit for the faulty item, provided it has not been subject to misuse or improper handling.
What is not covered under this warranty?
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, incorrect installation, or modification
- Products that have been tampered with or repaired by unauthorised persons
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by external factors such as power surges, moisture, or corrosive environments
- Any consequential or indirect loss, including installation or removal costs
How do I make a warranty claim?
To make a claim, please contact Metway’s customer service team at sales@metway.co.uk Claims must be supported by proof of purchase and details of the fault. In some cases, you may be asked to return the product for inspection with an Incident number allocated.
Who is eligible for this warranty?
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product from Metway
Do I have other rights in addition to this warranty?
Yes. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law, which are not affected by this statement.
